Overview
For our last project in Advanced Composition, you will work in groups of three to create your own magazine. The magazine will have a focus, for example, music, sports, or current events. We will brainstorm a list of possible types of articles for our magazines. In addition to articles, your magazine will contain an appropriate cover design and table of contents.
We will use Microsoft Publisher to create the pages. We'll print them in color and assemble our magazines.
You'll demonstrate your ability to write in a variety of forms by contributing 4 written pieces to your group's magazine.
The finished product will count as a large portion of the final exam for Advanced Composition.
